Intel Core I3 System (Value for money)
This is our budget system that is great for general purpose and day to day computer work. It is fully customisable and includes options for almost everything you may want inside the computer, including a full range of gaming graphics cards.
For optimum performance and longevity we suggest choosing 4GB RAM and an Intel Core i3 2120 CPU
Intel Core i3/i5/i7 System (Mid level to high end performance)
This systm already has very solid performance but to optimise for graphics performance simply choose a faster CPU, add a dedicated video card (from 60-150 price range is enough) and add more RAM as needed.
To optimise for gaming performance: Choose a video card that suits your budget (150-300 dollars for good performance). Gaming is less dependent on the CPU but you can upgrade this for additional improvement.
Intel Core i7 High Performance System
This system is a purpose built workstation, capable of virtualisation, high definition video editing, 3D CAD/CAM, digital content creation (DCC), geographic information systems, and advanced scientific application. Obviously many people looking at this system will simply be looking for gaming performance, which would simply need you to choose the appropriate graphics card. This system can be configured to up to 24GB of RAM, and supports ATI's Crossfire or nVidia's SLI multiple GPU technologies.
Intel Gaming System (i3, i5 or i7 CPU)
This system has been purpose built for gaming, with the intention of giving you the best value for money. We don't believe in many of the products that are common to the gaming market such as high performance RAM, motherboards that are designed specifically for overclocking, or 800-1000w power supplies, as all three of these things make little to no difference to the performance and stability of your system, but they do increase the cost. This computer is designed for medium level gaming, but by selecting a more expensive graphics card it can be scaled up to the top end. The 500W-600w power supply is good enough for all graphics card/cpu combinations in this system.
